The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs non-professional, direct care duties and assists in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the patient. Candidates need to possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Contract Assignment - 13 Weeks (Temporary) Shift: 5x8 Days Responsibilities: * To provide direct patient care to patients, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policies and procedures and report patient needs and concerns to a licensed nurse. * Complete documentation accurately and consistent with policies and procedures. * Assure patients are given adequate assistance with meals, nourishment, and transportation. * Respect the dignity and privacy or individuals are all times. * Assist patients with activities of daily living. * Present a positive image and accept the need for changes, be flexible, and demonstrate the enthusiasm toward enhancement Requirements * Proven experience as CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) * Must possess independent decision-making skills. * Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions * Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families. * Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees. * Capable of maintaining regular attendance. * Meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment. * Physical and sensory requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices): walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to hear and respond to pages; ability to read and write; ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with residents, families, personnel, vendors and consultants; ability to remain calm under stress; ability to distinguish smells, tastes and temperatures. * Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience Rewards: (CNA/Certified Nursing Assistant) · Pay depends on location and experience. · We are offering a very competitive package to the right licensed Certified Nursing Assistant candidate. · Most traveling healthcare providers enjoy the flexibility and the capability to travel and work in various settings and work environments.
