JOB Title: (1) Med Surg RN - Nights - Aspirus Keweenaw, Laurium, MI **Increased Bill Rate: $73.00 ** Contract Length: 13 weeks Start dates: 10/5 Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 (3 12 hour shifts) Primary Location: Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital Shift Requirements: shift start and end times: 1845-0715 Float Requirements (campuses and/or units): Possible float to ICU to care for Med/Surg status patients On Call/Call Back Requirements: No Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: Rotating weekends and holidays, usually every 3rd Required Licenses and Certifications: Current MI RN license, and BLS Minimum Experience (yrs in specialty): 2 years Charting Experience: Epic EMR, Pyxis medication management system, GE bedside cardiac monitors & telemetry, Alaris Infusion systems, Cisco & Responder 5 communication devices, Maxi Sky patient lifts. Will train on EMR, Pyxis, GE monitors, Alaris pumps Desired Unit Specific Skillset: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-specific needs of the patients on his/her assigned unit. This includes knowledge of the principles of growth and development, assessment and interpretation of data about the patient s status in order to identify each patient s needs and therefore plan and provide care or services appropriate to the age of the patient. General Job Duties: The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data. Unit Information (Bed size, Case types, Patient ratios, etc.): 10 private single occupancy rooms or 3 single occupancy & 7 semi-private rooms. Ratio 1: 3-4 Scrub Colors required: Uniform/scrubs as described by department policy are acceptable. All uniforms worn while on duty are to be neat, clean well fitting, wrinkle-free and conservative. Uniforms will be coordinated, tailored and be universally accepted as uniforms based upon current fashion and uniform manufacturers design. All employees will wear identification tags indicating the employee's position or profession. These tags are issued at the time of employment to all employees.Holiday +$10, OT +$10, Call Back +$10, Charge +$5, On Call $6 ==== BILLING NOTICE ==== Please review Master Affiliate Agreement before submitting candidate. The administrative fee for candidates placed shall be five percent (5.00%). Review all job posting requirements prior to submitting applicants for the posted position. Candidates can go permanent after working 6 months at facility with no buyout fee. All 48 hour guarantee contracts, OT starts after 48 hours unless stated. Staffency holds the direct relationship with the hospital system and will manage all hospital postings for contingent staffing. Any and all communication will go directly through Staffency . Any Affiliate Provider directly contacting the hospital will be in violation of their Affiliate Provider Agreement. Staffency will manage all billing for this client. Invoices are not to be sent to the hospital. Staffency does reverse billing which will be sent on a weekly basis and Affiliate Provider has 5 business days upon receipt to review and rebut the billing. For facilities that require timecards to be filled out by travelers, timecards are due by 12:00 pm central standard time Monday s or will be emailed to Affiliate Provider with clients utilizing Electronic timekeeping. Staffency will be on-boarding all new starts. All credentialing for new starts must be uploaded into the Staffency portal the Wednesday prior. Deadlines are determined by Staffency s Compliance Coordinator. The Compliance Coordinator will be emailing the compliance checklist and calling your compliance team upon receiving the signed traveler confirmation.
