The Emergency Department performs diagnostic interventions, offers immediate consultations for cardiac catheterization, Level I trauma care, operative procedures, special diagnostic testing and definitive care for all patients - pediatrics to adults. Ideal candidates thrive in an unpredictable environment. Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership skills in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel; has ability to work independently on a variety of tasks when patient load is light. Often, travelers earn higher pay than staff nurses, but pay will vary based on assignment location, requirements, certifications, and your experience. Job Requirements & Qualifications: •       Successful completion of a BSN, Diploma, or Associated Nursing Degree Program •       Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association required •       Valid professional state registered nursing (RN) license required •       2+ years of ER experience in a hospital facility required •       Three professional references required •       Additional relevant certifications recommended (TNCC, NRP, CEN)  
•       Successful completion of a BSN, Diploma, or Associated Nursing Degree Program •       Valid BLS & ACLS certifications •       Valid professional state registered nursing (RN) license required •       2+ years of relevant experience in a hospital facility required •       Three professional references
