Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: 9/30/2024 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $1864.89 - $2055.19

22 bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is looking for the right RN to join their team. 1:5-6 staffing with PCTs. Unit sees Post cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, groin management, chest tubes, Critical drips 500 bed Level 2 Trauma center and teaching facility that serves as a regional referral center. Meditech charting. Salem is a city of 25k, the Roanoke County seat, and an integral part of Virginia’s Blue Ridge region. The city features a charming downtown combining historical elements, a delicious food & drink scene, and rich arts & cultural amenities.

Required Qualifications

1. Perm VA or Compact license
2. ACLS, BLS

Gross Pay Range > 2131.92 South or North of this range depending on your location from the Facility.

Physical Requirements:
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.

Must speak English in good, understandable terms. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch.
Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate.
Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

Skills:
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider status according to American Heart Association.
Current RN - license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN - license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN - works

Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
