Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days 8
Case Management nurses coordinate short- and long-term care for patients as a group. The goal in Case Management is to oversee patient care, to reduce hospital stays, and to ensure quality follow-up care. Case Management travel nurses often work with groups of patients, such as people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS or cancer using a population health approach. RNs in Case Management may focus on a certain age group of patient, or on pediatric or geriatric specialties.

- Case Management positions require one to two years of experience in a hospital setting
- Degree from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Have, or be able to obtain, an RN license in the state of practice
- Valid BLS (ACLS and PALS certification may be required for some positions)
- Specialty certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel nurse positions
- Proof of right to work in the United States
