I have been traveling with Advanced for a year and a half now. I am originally from Los Angeles but had to move to central Pennsylvania for my wife's internship. I had difficulty finding a full time position in an Emergency department so I gave travel a try. I spoke with several reps from various companies but found my first recruiter to be straight forward, friendly and very honest. She was able to find me a position within 12 days. Unfortunately that recruiter retired but her replacement has been just at great! Krystle is helpful, kind and checks up on me regularly. She gets back to me if I have any questions within the hour. The pay packages she finds are usually a little higher then traveling coworkers and to be honest I feel really good when I hear those same travelers complain about their agencies. I highly recommend Advanced for their professionalism, ability to find you work with good pay rates and speed at which they respond to you. I am on my second hospital but 6th contract with Advanced.
Great experience so far!
Three weeks into my current contract and everything is going well! I worked with Lindsey Hope for about a month prior to my assignment. She is kind and courteous and has been good to work with. We communicate primarily through text which is perfect for me as I am quite busy with an erratic schedule. I have traveled once prior with another company and I did not feel like I was heard by my recruiter. I literally could not get a word in, it was frustrating. For this assignment, I wanted a certain location. We put my application in and when I didn't hear anything for a few days and had a time constraint to leave, Lindsey worked with me to find other hospitals very close by and put in applications as back up. I got the job I did want and everything is going well. Had some issues with how to turn in my timesheet but it was resolved and I have had no issues. Planning on staying with Advanced for my future travel endeavors!

Amazing company that truly cares about their nurses and doesn't see us as a body to fill a contract! When my home -along with most everyone in the state of Louisiana- flooded, the staff at Advanced began collecting supplies and gathering volunteers who drove overnight (after working all week) to deliver the much needed supplies, volunteer their time for the weekend and also provided a gift card (for me personally) to replace some of what was destroyed! The floods took place just as I was ending one contract and traveling cross country to start the next. The staff at Advanced worked with the new facility to get my start date pushed back long enough to give me time to handle things at home. Words just can't properly express my gratitude!!!!
I definitely hit the jackpot when I came across Advanced during my research to begin this travel nursing adventure several years ago!!!! Thank you for everything Advanced!
