ICU RN needed

Tell us about the unit(s):

  • Number of Beds – Enumclaw Regional Hospital joined CHI-Franciscan Health in 2007. In 2011, CHI-Franciscan opened St. Elizabeth Hospital to replace Enumclaw Regional Hospital. We are a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) because we are in a rural location and access into the hospital is gained primarily through secondary roads and not by major freeways. The Acute Care unit, which is combined Medical-Surgical / Telemetry as well as PCU / ICU, has 23 beds. There are up to 6 rooms used for critical care, and 17-19 rooms used for Med-Surg depending on the patient mix.
  • Number of Staff – The department has approximately 60 employees in total
  • Type of staff:
    • Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, 3 Med-Surg RNs (minimum), 2 Critical Care RNs (minimum), 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC. The RNs and CNAs work 12-hour shifts. The day HUC works from 0700-1530.
    • Night Shift – 1 Charge RN, 3 Med-Surg RNs (minimum), 2 Critical Care RNs (minimum), 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC. The RNs and CNAs work 12-hour shifts. The evening HUC works from 1500-2330.
  • Patient Ratios – Med-Surg and Med-Tele ratios are 1:5; PCU ratios are 1:3; ICU ratios are 1:2
  • Types of equipment – Vents, Bipap, Cpap, arterial lines, PICC lines, smart pumps (triple and single), PCA pumps, Kangaroo pumps, AccuChek Glucometers, and most other standard equipment found in a Med-Surg and ICU unit.
