When I decided to try travel nursing, I did some internet searching. Soon after, my phone blew up with recruiters making grandiose claims, however not one would give me any real details. One company simply emailed me information on the area I was interested in, including the pay package. Total transparency. Told me to call if interested. I knew I had found my company. Four years later, still going strong! Pam Heiman always has my back!
I had a great experience with Jackson Nurse professionals. My recruiter Cory Major is great. He calls me 3 to 4 times a week to check on me about the assignment and my concerns. He never leaves me in the dark. Always on point in taking care of me on the assignment. I've never met a professional and caring recruiter in my 25 years of nursing. He never leaves you hanging. You can depend on him getting things done. If you need a great recruiter I
recommend Cory Major at JNP.
Jackson Nurse Professionals is the company for your travel assignments.
I have been with Jackson for 2 years now and have loved every day. My recruiter, Pam Heimann, calls every week to check on me and for any problems/concerns at my current facility. She resolves any issues that I may be having quickly and listens to all rants that I may have concerning normal things that nurses deal with on a daily basis. I have not hesitated to give her contact information to anyone looking to travel or just wanting more information to help them decide on their next step in their nursing career. Pam has always been upfront and honest with me about any facility that she has offered positions to me. I have heard awful things about other companies, making their nurses feel like a number. Pam has always went out of her way to make "her nurses" feel more like a family than recruiter/nurse relationship. For those nurses that don't want this type of attention from their recruiter, never fear, Pam is great at giving "her nurses" exactly what they want/need. Also, I work with a lot of nurses that work with more than one company so that they wont have to worry about being without work. I only work with Jackson and have always had work and I am VERY choosy about where I go, and Pam always keeps me working!!!!
I have been with Jackson Nurse Professionals for 14 months now and I have loved every minute of it. I have the best recruiter in the world, Pam Heimann. She works hard to make sure I'm happy with my assignments and she always checks on me all during each assignment to make sure I'm not having any problems. I know I can count on her to help me anytime. I would recommend Jackson to anyone who maybe considering working for a travel agency. There are a lot of travel agencies out there competing for us all the time, but Jackson is great agency to work for, so give them a call and give them a try.
This is my first travel assignment and so far the company has been great. My recruiter Pam Heimann stays in touch and keeps me informed of everything I need to know. The company also offers insurance at a reasonable price along with a 401K. I am lucky to have found such a great company and cannot wait to see how the next assignment goes.
