With the delivery of safe, quality patient care as the primary goal, the Registered Nurse exercises sound professional judgment and skills in-the performance of assigned duties. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice a systematic approach to patient care utilizing the nursing process; assessment of patient status and needs, planning of patient care based on needs, implementation of the plan of care and evaluation of goal achievement. Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current RN license in the appropriate state/s * Minimum of one year clinical experience in chosen clinical specialty * Supervisory references or at a minimum verification of previous work experience Current BLS certification. Advanced Certifications; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC etc. maybe required based on clinical specialty. Duties and Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse is expected to practice safe and ethical nursing care within the scope of his/her profession as defined by state Nursing Practice Act, understanding of his/her own limitations, seeking advice and assistance when necessary.
