Travel LPN / LVN - $1,443 per week in Beavercreek, OH - We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a busy family medical office. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, from infants to adults. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make a significant difference in the health and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities: * Clinical Duties * Obtain patient vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) * Assist with patient examinations by preparing rooms and equipment * Collect laboratory specimens (blood, urine) * Administer medications (oral, topical, injections) as prescribed by the physician * Document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) * Monitor patient health and report any changes to the physician * Assist with minor procedures as directed * Provide basic wound care and medication administration * Prepare patients for immunizations and vaccinations * Patient Care * Greet patients and families in a friendly and professional manner * Update patient medical histories * Educate patients on medications, treatments, and preventative care * Assist patients with scheduling appointments and referrals * Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families * Administrative Duties * Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records * Stock and maintain examination rooms * Answer phones and schedule appointments * Perform other clerical tasks as needed Qualifications: * Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Ohio * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a family practice or similar setting * Must have experince with EKGs * Must have experince with venipuncture, blood draw, or blood collection * Strong clinical skills, including assessment, vital signs, medication administration, and phlebotomy * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficient in EMR documentation * Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment * Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care * Commitment to providing high-quality care Alto Health Care Staffing is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
