Travel Nurse RN - PACU/Pre-Post Op - $15 to $20 per hour in Spokane, WA -   Specialty : RN-Post Operations/Recovery Room Travel Job Description * Post-operative nurses provide intensive care to patients as they awaken from anesthesia after a surgical procedure. * Responsible for all aspects of patient care after they've had surgery * Monitor vital signs, administer medication for pain and nausea, update and educate the family, and transfer to the inpatient unit or discharge depending on the acuity of the patient. * Monitor surgical site itself for potential bleeding or other pathological indications * Log all findings in patient files * Answer patient questions and ensure patient comfort * Monitor patients for condition changes, reporting any changes to physician * Perform intervention duties during post-operative emergencies Qualifications and Job Info * 1-2 years of acute clinical care nursing experience * Current BLS and ACLS * Must have current state license Benefits * Day 1 Health benefits (Health/Vision/Dental) * Weekly Pay * Direct Deposit * Travel reimbursement * State License reimbursement * $1500 Referral bonus program
