Travel Nurse RN - PACU/Pre-Post Op - $2,770 per week in Madison, WI - WI - RN - Surg/OR Perioperative Pediatrics - Day/Evening - **Traveler must include and/or meet all minimum requirements below to be consider. **Do not submit candidates who have or will have expiring licenses and/or certifications during time frame of entire assignment. Candidates will automatically be declined. **Only submit profile who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!We are seeking an RN - Surg/OR Pre/Post amp PACU Pediatrics toBe responsiblefor independent peri-anesthetic management of complex varied surgical andprocedural inpatient/outpatient pediatric populations.Function as a liaison by initiating andfacilitating communication regarding patient needs between the specialtyclinic the Operating Room the PACU and the Inpatient Unit.Demonstrate skill in physical assessment related to pre-surgical state of a patient as well as the patient's assessment post-operatively.Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison address must be included in traveler's profile. Experience: Perioperative experience required - including pre-op phase II PACU. Pediatric perioperative experience strongly preferred. Experience with special needs and complex care patient population. Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital. Successfully completed traveler assignment 13 weeks. Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. BLS and PALS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Reference Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments supervisor or manager only. Floating Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment if the primary unit no longer has a need shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. On-call Optional: Call response time of 45 minutes 45 minutes from phone call dressed in scrubs and reporting to charge nurse. Location: AmericanFamily Children's Hospital 1675 Highland Ave Madison WI 53792 Parking: Permitrequired through UW Transportation. Shift:36 hours per week. 8/10/12 hours, Day/Evening, M-F with on-call responsibilities. Primarily working 0730-2000 or 0900-2130. Unit Minimum Years of Experience:2 , PALS
