Outstanding Staff and Health Professionals

Some shifts are very busier then others. Working with and supporting Med Surg, ER and OB is educational and sometimes a challenge. I work with some very talented nurses and doctors. I enjoy serving others both internal and external. Hardest part of job is getting hours. Put on call a lot, as much as an entire week. Making it a challenge to earn a full paycheck at times. I enjoy the work and the place when I am there. Pay is not at national average, but okay for area. Advancement is slim if even applicable in certain roles.Reaching out to learn more and cross train is possible and much appreciated by the departments you work with.

Residents were pretty typical for a gereatric bunch.

I was hired for second shift with the understanding that when the new dementia unit opened I could move to first shift and the D.O.N. changed her mind and went by seniority with the company to fill the first shift positions leaving me high and dry.
