July 25, 2012 I appreciated being able to work in that environment for so many years, making progress, helping people.A typical day is very busy, juggling meetings, questions from employees, coworkers, billing department, admissions, medical staff, managers, etc.; I have learned how to get along with many different people with different personalities and make it work; I enjoyed managing my department, teaching and watching new employees learn new things, keeping the department flowing despite outside issues ; co-workers are easy to work with for the most part, when things become difficult - as long as there is open communication - things usually work out to each one's benefit; hardest part - dealing with providers that make it difficult to attain your goals e.g chart completion, dictations, etc., communication with upper management; most enjoyable - reaching goals, putting in hard work and seeing positive results, working together towards a common goal and accomplishing that goal e.g grants, community project, health fair, etc |
