Repressive enviornment

They state the culture of the enviornment is to promote a healthy and happy enviornment. This could not be further from the truth. They charge you for the cups and water. There is no free coffee or nothing for free for that matter. You have to park off site and the shuttle schedule is very sparatic. The shuttle bus drivers drive like maniacs. They do not care about their employees. They have a high employee turn over rate and vannot retain their employees. Their benefits are mediocore. The managers do not manage well and they do not lead by example. They do not encourage a job well done. They always focus on what can be improved not appreciating a job well done at all. They are more focused on their Press-Gainey scores than anything else. This is the only thing that they discuss in town hall meetings and how things are going with the Hopkins take over.My co-workers are unhappy and the work enviornment is tense. The typical work day is stress filled and tense. The hardest part of my job is I am not appreciated for anything I do. The most enjoyable part of my job is when someone says thank you.

Good Place to work

Good place to work, with fair minded people. Good hospital experience.
