Excellent health care

The environment was an excellent place to learn, grow and contribute. Co-workers varied in experiences and levels of expertise with the common denominator of prioritizing patient care for optimal healthy outcomes.I was given the flexibility to learn and share and utilize my own skills and knowledge.

I Loved working at Auburn Hospital

I did customer service(answered any billing questions for all patient calls)-also did switchboard for the hospital.I Loved working at the hospital but they moved the billing to a company in California

Labor Mill

I learned to do whatever I was told to do in order to keep my job so long as it made money for the hospital. My job was to do no harm with whatever little resources I had and to make my job look like we worked as a team even if it meant letting your co-worker take the fall for what you did not do that kept from harming the patient.

Coworkers are top notch, management is poor, leadership, what leadership?

Typical day is frantic due to lack of organization and leadership. I learned that organizations can talk of core values and market excellence, but lack both in the most basic ways. Management wants the title and the pay but does not want to do the work. Hardest part about the job, lack of leadership and mentorship. Most enjoyable part is the people you work with who still believe in doing their personal best
