Good team work. Good resources available. Would recommend if in need of extra care. Attached to the main hospital with all resources available

OK place to work

This company does not value their employees. They ask for more and more but never say thank you or promote from within. They like to go to the outside to find higher level workers. Coworkers are great and helpful. Managment only cares about politics and not the employees.

It was a great place to work

I learned time management, worked on different units. I learned many of my nursing skills here.

Positive environment, all private rooms, good nurse to patient ratio

Good, positive work environment. Hospital atmosphere and employees are typically very happy, positive and everyone seems to work as a team very well. Recently learned (and learning) the management and care of the fungal meningitis patients in our area. Have learned a vast amount, due to the floating nature of the position. Our managers in the resource pool department are very supportive and flexible, along with coworkers in general. The hardest part of the job would be the floating nature and handling brand new patients every shift.Enjoyable is the patient to nurse ratio, I believe is very good; 1 to 5 on a med-surg unit, and never more. The hospital itself only has private rooms, has been recently completely renovated, is very beautiful, calming and the patients and employees love it.
