A typical day at work
Mammoth was a really enjoyable place to work, very family oriented among employees. Worked nights where sometimes we had to call a doctor in from home to see emergency patients, which could be a little stressful at times. Most of time only 2 nurses in entire hospital at night to run both ER and floor, very small hospital but most enjoyable
Wonderful Place to Work
Technologists typically work 4/10's with a night or two of being on call. Staff is highly encouraged to increase in education and cross-training. The only downside is the altitude of the town which means a whole lot of snow in the winter, and the high cost of living. However, if you love the outdoors, skiing/snowboarding, bicycling, etc., this is an amazing place to live and work. The staff are friendly and treat you like family.
Too many managers who rarely assisted staff when they needed help.
A typical day at work was never to speak unless a physician spoke to you, very discriminating and belittling. A lot of gossip from staff and management would do nothing about it. My co-workers were difficult to work with, too much gossip. The hardest part of the job was pleasing the doctors. No matter how hard you worked, it still wasn't good enough.
