Specialty Hospital

My days consist of working alone side of a RN to provide direct care in a long term acute care specialty hospital. I took the patients vital signs every four hours. I learned many new things like caring for patients that have life threatening illnesses that are on ventilators. The hardest part of the job was sometimes the patients did not make it. The company made sure the workers were up to date and we trained

Team work

Direct patient care in along term specialty hospital, plenty of refresher training, co-workers very helpful. The hardest part of the job was that some patients did not make it and the best part of the job was some patients went home fully recovered
