.Rewarding place to work for

Satisfaction... I work a usual 8 hour day at work where it's nothing as a regular hospital I work at a behavioral hospital where I utilize all my skills in hvac, plumbing, electrical, carpentry. I work very close with staff by educating them in life safety techniques, and address any work orders or any other concerns they have. It's challenging at times at work because it is a behavioral hospital so I have to ensure that anything I do is properly secured up to code, and to be compliant with Infection Control, Illinois Department of Health, and Joint Commision. Working with management is demanding, but workable any type of work I do in the hospital has to be scheduled with management and staff since I will be in contact with patients patient safety is number one priority for all staff. Helping patients with needs they have in the hospital is very gratifying for me, and being able to use all knowledge and resources makes it worth while.
