pretty bad company
I was apart of 4 ceo changes, 2 regional vps, the corporate coo resigned. One property was in newspaper for deaths and poor business, 2 other properties failed jcaho and almost lost license. Another property sold. All this after they filed bankruptcy. None of the managment knew what they were doing and the company cuts every cost to attempt to make profits. Everyone associated with this company eventually suffers and moves on.
Micro managed to the hilt. No training or education they will just fire you for not knowing. Filed bankruptcy in 2011 things are worse. Corporate nurse is over facilities maintenance and tries to micro-manage, no clue what's going on. You are hired full time but will only get 32 hours a week. There is 1 maintenance person for the entire facility... Unsafe
Little chance for advancement, benefits adequate, management distant, very stressful.
I deliver medical supplies to 3 hospitals daily. Stock central supply, place weekly orders. Better knowledge of hospital supplies and inventory. Co-workers good. Hardest part of job is trying to complete all job responsibilities in an 8 hour day.
CEO has entire family working in the facility and upper management jobs go directly to them
Fast paced longterm acute care hospital
During this period this was a team oriented facility to work. Quite enjoyable facility to work at.
Although this was a PRN job my manager was really sweet. She believed and me and I am glad I had the opportunity to help them while their full-time worker was out on leave.
