Great work environment.

I really enjoyed my job. My co-workers are great. My typical day was to take pulled medical records to various doctors offices in the building. I would then work with dictation and clinic notes on the computer, making sure each dictation was correct. My supervisor was a great manager. She was very easy to approach when I had questions.

Nice people, but close-minded to new ideas.

Most of my day involves supervising staff and making sure our productivity levels stay high. I have taken every class I can to learn more about management and leadership skills. I attend regular meetings, operations meetings, forms committee, and departmental meetings. The hardest part of the job currently is keeping productivity up with very short staff. The area has an abundance of jobs, but not enough people to fill them. This was due to a natural disaster causing many people to move away and yet an increase in outsiders moving in because of a big oil boom in the area as well.

Great mission statement for their vision

I learned the full spectrum of payroll responsibilities, at this company from time cards to w-2 processing/printing.
