Emory Johns Creek hospital is a great place to work.

I have learnt a lot and continue learning a lot of thing while working for this hospital. I would definitely recommend Emory as a great place of employment. Staff including managers and directors are really friendly and very encouraging.

I enjoyed my years at Emory Johns Creek Hospital and would still be there if I did not move to join my future Husband to plan our wedding.

My favorite part of my job was teaching, be it PALS, ACLS or BLS. I also enjoyed working with all my students whether it was future medical students or the teenage volunteers.I was grateful that everyday I was able to help patients through a difficult and often fearful experience for them and make that experience better by emotional support, education and pain control. I was able to use my skills and knowledge to keep my patients safe.

productive and innovative work create space for growth and development

Typical day begins with shift reports and evaluation of workload. Minimal time spent organizing and prioritizing patient's acuity level and care is rendered as such; most critical to least. Staff worked as team players, although stressful situations may create silence. The group is aware of the purpose of being, and therefore, the ultimate goal is to provide quality care to patient's and families.

Emory Johns Creek pretty dysfunctional for nurse support

Management and Administration as well as Human Resources knew about a bullying situation in a certain department and did not act on it. I watched 4 nurses leave in 1 year's time over this situation. At this time the situation has not changed.Even though the outside of the hospital is beautiful the inside is pretty dysfunctional as far as management for nurses.
