I liked my job with the exception of all the different hrs I worked

I was charge nurse of the surgical floor at DGH. I was over worked and under paid. I was responsiable for what every nurse did on my floor. That meant I got all the reprocussions from the docs. My co-workers were wonderful or too lazy! I loved my work though and learned many new things

did not have the equipment to do the job

Never had working equipment to do the job. Was not kept up to date on meetings. Work hours went from 5 days a week to cut hours back to 5 days a week to call on week end with no pager pay. Not a good job for raising my kids
