Great Medical learning facility!

While at UTMC I was an intern. Great place for learning and patient care! The staff at this hospital truly care for the patients. I recommend this hospital as a learning and treatment facility.

Professional healthcare environment providing acute care services (medical college).

I work 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. I have learned alot on this unit as it is a step-down to the ICU. I have done medicated drips (insulin/heparin), peritoneal dialysis, wound care and administered TPN as well. The hardest part of the job is the night-shift hours. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with patients 1:1 and making a difference in their journey towards health.
