AVERAGE HOSPITAL ROUTINE,THERE WERE NOT A LOT OF INCENTIVES

I WAS IN HOUSE REGISTRY MADE MY OWN SCHEDULE, RAPID RESPONSE TEAMS WAS SOMETHING NEW FOR ME, MANAGEMENT WAS OK, MY COWORKERS WERE HELPFUL, WE WORKED AS A TEAM, STAFFING WAS SHORT TOO OFTEN , THIS MADE THE JOB HARDER. THE FRIENDLY ATOMOSPHER AMONG THE WORKERS WAS A GOOD THING BUT SEEING A PATIENT RECOVER AND GO HOME BECAUSE OF THE CARE HE RECEIVED WAS PROBALY THE MOST ENJOYABLEPART OF THE JOB

Unit coordinator

This job was a secretarial job. It was high pace and demanding. I like the responsibility. It put a lot of demand on you as a person to coordinate and supply all the needs of the floor, nurses and doctors.I believe I learned compassion to a new level at this job. Many people who are hospitalized are going thu traumatic things in that time of there life. You realize what you have to be grateful and also help. The management and co-workers were wonderful also compassionate people. The hardest part of the job is when the hospital had over packed er and you would have to stay 2 or more hours until your floor and all patients were stable. A lot of the time it was with out pay. The most enjoyable it the self satisfaction of going home and feeling like you helped someones life in a small way.
