The Navajo people are very kind and freindly people to work with, they are a joy to be around.

I would receive scheduled patients, review their case files and doctors orders for that visit, I would assess and evaluate the condition of the patient, place IV access or PICC line care or Port access so I could collect the blood for lab testing, then I would provide the IV medication or blood trans fusion as order, monitor patient, evaluate for emergency as needed, contact the physician as indicated, complete the infusion, scheduled the next nurse visit as needed.

enjoyed daily work working as a team

Triage patients, assist to doctor's rooms, immunizations given as needed. Have learned that family members need to be included in allpatients care. Have been floated to 6 ambulatory care units with 2 months in flu clinic. Spoke every morning to supervisor to see where she needed me to work. Friendly with all co-workers. Hardest part of the job is catheter changes. Most enjoyable part of my job was to see that patients did colorectal screenings and you know that your explanation was followed
