On your feet job

I helped the nurses stock the empty hospital rooms for incoming patients and I stocked the cabinets in the rooms when they were empty. I also got ice chips and water for the patients.

Fast paced and challenging job

Typically, I would hit the ground running at the hospital. From calls to insurance companies, call backs to patients or dealing with other hospital departments, I loved this job. I learned that it really does take everyone to make a successful office. Some of the management was very helpful and encouraging while others were not quite as much fun to work with. There were many challenges to reach our financial goals for the hospital but almost with out exception, those goals were met or exceeded. I loved the bonuses that we could earn for exceeding our goals. I loved the cafeteria food and I loved that the hospital was right on the water so my breaks could be spent watching dolphins and fish. The most difficult part of the job was leaving. I was there almost 15 years and left for another job which did not materialize.
