Exciting work environent. Great learning experience!

I enjoyed trauma nursing better than anything I have ever done. Exciting work environment due to leniency during this time period. Many physicians would not remain at the hospital while on call; Relatively good support. Physicians from Huntsville Hospital's Family Practice Residency program available on weekends. This helped.

Registered Nurse- General care and ED

Small hospital with few patients 3-6 overall. Alternate care for floor,ICU and ED patients on typical week. Co-workers were overall supportive when needed. No security at nights. Management okay to deal with.

Caring Environment

A typical day at work could be stressful because I assisted very ill patients. I've learned working there to never take anything for granted, especially your health. Management was great, we all loved our Director. The hardest part of the job was watching someone pass. The the most enjoyable part of the job was seeing someone go home feeling better, but not before letting me know how much they appreciated my help.
