High quality staff, Low payscale

The staff are wonderful on my floor and have a great "team" work ethic. The schedulers on nights (my shift) are very flexible and the charge nurses are great. Loan forgiveness (only ~$1500/year and you have to sign on for an additional 1.5 years). RN recognition: you can get paid for continuing education, volunteering, etc. We almost always have the maximum number of patients every shift. The workload is heavy. I have been told by many that this is one of the lowest-paying hospitals in the area (and looking on this website, comparatively very low). This is unfortunate considering that it is one of the top hospitals in the Denver area and has Magnet designation. I would like to switch to day shift, but cannot afford to lose the night differential.
