December 10, 2012 Standards for Customer satifactionI work in a hospital. A typical work day is servicing sick people. What I've learned is that a smile, kind words, good service or just simply listening always make people feel better and can generate a smile in their worst pains. I pretty much work the Front end of patient care and my analysis of management could be a little more involved with patients' concerns. I work well with my co-workers. They are all team players for the most part. I donot consider my job to be hard because my mission is to focus on customer care and patients' concerns. I have the ability to find solutions when customers have disagreements or are discontent concerning policies, procedures or staff members. The most enjoyable part of my job is working with people and helping someone to develop a postitive and warm visit while at the Clinic. It is difficult to rate the National Naval Medical Center since it is no longer the National Naval Medical Center. Currently, the name is Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The operating protocol changed with the name. Prior to the change, National Naval Mecial Center was five star. However, a fair rating at the present would have to be analyzed by Departments. Each Departments have different protocols since the merge. In time, I think that things will be better and that should enhance the overall ratings. |
August 04, 2012 The National Naval Medical Center is the President's HospitalIt was an honor to work at this prestigious medical center; where the President, Members of Congress and retired and serving millitary members were treated. The Marines injured in Iraq were sent to our hospital for their care. The hospital ship, The Comfort was sent to the Gulf War to aid military members and injured civilians. It was also sent to the Twin Towers in NYC after 911. Working with the Navy officers, hospital administrators and medical teams was like working with family. |
January 12, 2012 Flagship of Navy Medicine also known as the President's hospital.National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) is a military teaching hospital and core of navy medicine. NNMC serves the POTUS, members of Congress and active and retired military servicemen. I worked at National Naval Medical Center for twelve years during many international events and military conflicts. I started as an independent contractor and left as the senior civilian manager. I had a chance to develop my skills professionally and accomplish goals beyond my wildest dreams. |
