productive workplace with great teamwork

A typical day at work starts with getting report and then getting vital signs on my patients. I administer morning medications and assist with ADL's and perform head to toe assessments for each of my patients. I have to communicate with doctors on a day to day basis and work with other nurses in order to care for my patients.

a great atmosphere to work at with friendly people

I worked at Jackson purchase for about 3 years. I worked at Medical records as my first job under a great supervisor who cared about her staff. I never had any problems while working there. After about working there for 2 years I transferred to Registration where i subjected to unfairness. I loved working in the ER since it was where i wanted to work some day. I learned a lot from the nurses and doctors i worked around. The only thing was the management was unfair. I worked under a recently new supervisor who bit off more she could chew with working there and didn't give the job the management it needed

Good Pay

I worked in the OB department. Staff was very nice and friendly but when there wasn't patients or low cenus, we were on call. I was on call more than I got to work.
