typical hospital environment with starbucks at main entrance

Definite delineation between management and staff. Very little team work.Learned to be self sufficient.Management typically late or MIA. Lots of meetings. Very little input from workers.Software and hardware decisions made by those not involved in their use.The staff was very helpful to each other. We formed a great bond because we only had each other when times got tough. Many superfluous titles and offices for hiding out.

Wonderful place to work. Great Team Work!!!

Probably one of the best nursing experiences I have had. It was great to work at a facility who understand the concept of it takes a team of team players to make this thing work. We gave great care there, because we know how to work together and put the patient first. Had a great Nurse Manager there as well. Treated her Travel Nurses well.

Externship

While on my externship, the staff at Chesapeake General was incredibly helpful. I was only with Chesapeake General for 180 hours, so I was not with them very long. However, I worked in the medical records department, emergency room, and even worked with the Head of the ER and her secretary. I learned quite a lot and gain a lot of experience.
