Productive and good Workplace

A typical day would be helping the residents get up and do there ADL cares. I also did vital signs if the nurse needed them. Then I would assist them to breakfast and help feed them if they needed assistance. After that we would assist them back to their recliners or bathroom if the needed it. Then we would assist them to actitives or appointments if they had them that day. After that we would take them to lunch and assist them and than we would take them to their rooms and assist them to there recliners. When we had all the residents transferred over we would chart on them on the computer. I have learned alot about how each resident is different and how to be patient with each one. The hardest part of the day just depends on if the residents was sick or couldn't get comfortable. The most enjoyable part of the day was learning from them. I learned so much from their past. My coworkers was awesome. It was neat how all of aides would work together even if we were fully staff or short. We had good teamwork.I would have to say about management was a totally different thing. They really didn't know how hard it was to work short or asked us how we could improve on things.
