As a travel nurse you could not pay me enough to work here. 7 patients almost every night, no staff, no responsible PCAs to help. Labs aren't "timed" so your heparin gtt lab will not come back for hour past due. No resources. The house supervisor is the only person who runs codes and rapid responses so if two happen at the same time they have to leave yours. They even do CPR wrong, I've watched them hyperventilate the patient the entire time during cpr and nearly blow their stomach out. I can not say one good thing about this place. My license feels at risk here daily and I haven't heard any positive feedback from staff here. It seems that every person hates it here but puts up with it because their loved ones are nearby. My list could go on forever on the pure negligence I've witnessed.

DCH AND AYA

DCH is a horrible place to work. Very racist masked by a fake spirit of togetherness. 6 to 7 high acuity patients with no help. PCAs have said multiple times that they are striking and not working on those days and they get away with it. They’ve been there for years. From therapist to o nursing staff there is racism and micro aggressions. If you speak up you will be dismissed as an angry black woman. It’s a very toxic environment. Straight out of the 1800s racism. Don’t work here.
