Productive and fun workplace with great people.

What I liked most about this job is to see the transformation take place in other people's life and getting the opportunity to witness and to be a part of. My co-workers were very kind hearted people that would sacrifice their time and energy for their clients. The hardest part of the job is having a client that you get to know really well go back out and have a fatal overdose or some type of fatal accident.

Productive and enegertic shelter geared towards helping solve homelessness among women andchildren

I really enjoyed my experience as a student intern at Pathways! I worked with several women to help eliminate homelessness. I sought to provide different services that were needed to help women get on a positive track in life. Pathways is a great agency that has a positive role in the lives of homeless women and children.

Fast-paced, mission-driven work environment

Working with formerly homeless, severely mentally ill population who have been placed in independent housing units and supported by multi-disciplinary mental health team.Typical day involved doing home visits or seeing patients in the clinic for IMs, med management, blood draws, psycho-education, psych and medical evaluation.Difficult work environment at times due to a very difficult patient population who are very sick and many with current or recent substance abuse problems. There is also a lack of Nursing/Medical Supervision. Most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know my very unique and interesting patients and their stories.
