Being your partner through every step of the process and making sure the smallest detail is not overlooked is what my travel nurses have come to expect as they place their trust in me. It’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly, yet we also seem to find time for a few laughs through the process of finding that “just right” location for you. I must be doing something right since my nurses have selected me as one of the Recruiters of the Year three times by Healthcare Traveler magazine. Travel PICU RN

Lauren has been just wonderful to check in on me and diligently seek answers to my questions....And I've had a lot!!! She is professional and has gone above and beyond to give me links for housing, or RV parks. It's good to know that there are great people to help travel nurses along the path!

I was a travel RN for years but was not working due to surgery and recovery from. Can I get my job back now that I am ready?
HI Cheryl, First, you would need a medical release from your doctor stating you are able to go back to work. Also, it would depend on how long you had been our of your "travel" position before being able to secure the same job. The hospital would have to have an open need to bring you back more than likely. If its been more than a year since you worked, I would suggest trying to pick up some PRN.
What is the allowed distance to travel from your home to be considered a travel position?
Hi, to be considered for a travel position, there are some facilities that have mile radius rules. Usually it's 50 miles as you are duplicating expenses. Some hospitals have larger radius rules such as 75 or 100 miles. Everything should be discussed with you during conversations with a recruiter so you know which hospitals you would be eligible for especially if you lived near by.
Do you have travel jobs for Home health or hospice nurses?
Hi, Yes, We have a lot of Home Health and Hospice positions throughout the US.
Do you reimburse for certifications and licenses?
Yes, We reimburse for Licenses and Certifications once provided with a receipt.
How long does it take to get licensed in other states? Is it difficult?
Hi Cindy, If you do not have a compact state license it can vary per state. There are some walk through states which you can get the same day, other states will range from 3-4 days, 7- 10 days, 3-4 weeks and even some can take up to 3 months or longer. As long as you go to each BON in that state you are wanting a license and have everything you need for licensure by endorsement it should not be difficult.
