I live in San Diego and I'm a Southern California native. I love to get outside... I mean how can you not in this town?! My hobbies include visiting different breweries, cooking, camping, roasting my own coffee, and going to alternative/rock concerts. I have enjoyed working with Derek for the last few years. I started my traveling career with him and have found that he really helps me get what I am looking for out of a job, a certain location, times I need to work and time I need to be home. He has been a pleasure to work with and I feel comfortable knowing my work needs are taken care of by someone that "gets it done!"

Derek has been a great recruiter and has made my experience as a new travel nurse the best! He is always willing to help and promptly returns calls and messages. He is incredibly organized and a real asset to keeping my nursing life in order (ex: certification renewals, PPD testing, etc). Also, my assignments have always either met or exceeded my experience requirements, making me feel comfortable with my skills even in a new place. I highly recommend traveling with Derek as your career consultant!

I can not say enough good things about Derek. He is organized, kind, considerate, prompt, and genuinely loves what he does. He does everything he says he will do and then some. I have had prior travel experience that was not very good and was a little hesitant to do it again , but not with Derek or Medical Solutions. I KNOW without a doubt that they both have my back, and as a traveler, you can't ask for anything more. I would recommend Derek for ANY travelers, both seasoned and new!

Derek has been great throughout my travel experience. I could not have asked for a better recruiter! He's not only my recruiter, but I consider him a friend. Our conversations are always enjoyable and never feel like work. He's always prompt in all correspondence. Derek is amazing! I've had a bit of a rough last year with family sickness, he's been there for me through it all. He definitely puts your needs first and tries to make what you need happen. I would recommend him to any traveler!
