Ashley comes with over 4 Years of Experience in Recruiment and is truly an outgoing, loyal asset to Republic Health Resources. Ashley comes with a pride and love for Nurses that is truly unheard of. With her expertise and knowledge of the field, she is able to put nurses in places and hospitals that they LOVE, and make them feel as if they are a part of her own Family. Her nurses absolutely love her, and her reviews show this very thing. Ashley takes getting the RIGHT contract very seriously, and also brings a lot of humor to her and her nurses day to day lives. She specializes in New Travelers, as she understands how momentous of a decision this is and she is accessible at all times to assist and coach along the way.
Ashley is currently a Team Leader, assisting and overseeing 3 recruiters on a daily basis to give guidance and teach the others to have the same outlook on this process as she does. Its is very crucial to her that the Recruiters on her Team understand that this is a huge decision for any nurse, Current Traveler or New, and to be available 24/7 to help be a mentor and counsel them along the way.
In her spare time, Ashley Loves to be with her family, truly enjoys outdoor activities such as Fishing and Hiking, and spending time with her wonderful husband and Yorkie Poo, Leo. She is a die-hard Cowboys Fan, and loves spending every Thursday, Sunday, and Monday watching each and every NFL game there is on, even if it isn't a Cowboys game. Growing up in Deep East Texas, she truly feels the love of the country life, and spends a lot of time helping her family tend to their 85-acre farm.
Ashley is awesome! She is incredibly personable and my biggest advocate when it comes to looking and interviewing for travel jobs! I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
I am a newbie to travel nursing. I have not even started my first travel assignment yet. Therefore, I can only comment on my experiences thus far. This past September, I posted on Facebook asking my travel nurse friends to comment on the pros and cons of travel nursing. My friend from nursing school Brittany answered my post. I asked her to recommend a good recruiter because I was thinking about venturing into travel nursing. She told me about her good and bad experiences with various hospitals and other agencies. After hearing her stories, I was still leery about starting this adventure. She gave me Ashley’s number and told me to reach out to her. She told me that I would love her and that she is “pro nurse”. Ashley and I talked on the phone for almost an hour. I was impressed with how she took the time to find out what I was looking for, answered my questions, and made me feel at ease. She helped me find my confidence by pushing me to trust in myself. With her encouragement, I am excited to start this adventure. She makes me feel like I am her #1 priority and part of her family. As a new travel nurse, I feel confident with her in my corner as a friend and recruiter.
I have only connected with Ashley a short while, BUT she is there to answer your questions and help conquer your fears of the unknown. It's a big world out there and not many friendly people, Ashley has made me feel like family and is there to try and give you the best experience possible as a travel nurse. I look forward to a new chapter in my career 😊
Ashley is the best. Before I joined the Republic family, she was the recruiter for my sister. I could ask her any question. And she would give me a honest answer. I explained to her what I was looking for and she delivered. Thanks so much Ashley, for listening to my needs.
She is amazing!!!! Great person, very helpful and understanding!
