Hi there! My name is Lana Kimmich, Sr. Partner in Recruitment at Stability Healthcare. I've been recruiting for 15 years now and I love what I do! It all began back in 2001 while working on my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at UC Berkeley. While I wasn't busy studying, I was working at The Cal Fund, connecting with Berkeley alumni to help contribute to our college's fund to support everything from scholarships to research and new technology. It was truly inspiring to hear the tales of Berkeley graduates and their zany adventures at our amazing university!
After graduating in 2003, I moved back to my hometown of Los Angeles where I then began working for an elite matchmaking company in Beverly Hills. Recruiting women for high caliber clientele was one hell of an interesting experience to say the least! Lots of crazy stories about that job... ;)
Around 2006, I was presented with the opportunity to begin matchmaking in a different realm: healthcare! I began working full desk as a case management recruiter and account manager for RNs and LVNs desiring per diem and permanent positions in acute care settings. It was eye-opening to help both nurses and hospitals join forces from both sides of the desk!
Not too long thereafter, a new position knocked on my door. In 2008, I began working as a Travel RN recruiter for Emerald Health Services. I rose to senior status in under a year recruiting RNs exclusively for inpatient acute care travel contracts across the US. I spent 7 years there as a Sr. Recruiter and created the most invaluable relationships with some of the most caring and hardworking people that I feel blessed to call both clients and friends.
Just recently in December of 2015, I joined Stability Healthcare as Sr. Partner in Recruitment, and it's been an awesome journey ever since! Making sure my nurses are happy is always my #1 goal. Timely correspondence, being supported, having one's back, going to bat, competetive paychecks that are correct and on time, these are only a few factors I ensure so my nurses have the most satisfying assignments possible. And I feel lucky to be a part of it all! Enriching my RN's worlds with these new exciting experiences is what makes my daily work so gratifying.
I look forward to matchmaking for my RNs for a long time to come! :)
