Working with National Staffing Solutions now for nearly a year has been an incredibly positive experience. My recruiter, Corey, is there when I need him to be, and is very realistic about how things work, keeping me informed, and no surprises. Traveling has been almost healing as the facilities are welcoming and happy to have you help them. There is not the political piece to get caught up in as you are a visitor. My recruiter Corey, is excellent at checking in with me to make sure things are going ok, and to answer any questions. He is a good listener and takes his 'job' seriously as I am treated as a person on the other end of the phone and not just a travel nurses on paper. I really appreciate that.
Corey was one of the best recruiters I had as a traveler. When I first spoke to him I was changing companies and I had narrowed down to this company and one other, and was smarting from my last bad experience. Corey states if you go with us I guarantee I will get you the assignment you have been looking for, I was cautious but he did and it happened quickly. To say the least I was impressed after that we were a team, he was there for me even on his time off, he would let me vent and if I needed him to step in he would. When I finished that assignment and I believe I stayed for 3 rounds he set me up with another great place. I took a full time position with the last assignment I took, but I still call Corey and I always give National staffing name to all the travelers I meet and I tell them ask for Corey. When the time comes I will come back to this company and I only hope Corey is there he was a great asset in my career thank you Corey.
My experience with Corey as my recruiter has been absolutely wonderful. I have not worked with a better recruiter in my traveling experience. Corey has always gotten the best paying jobs in the places I have requested to be, not only that but he would always call to see if I found housing okay, if it was in a decent neighborhood, and if I was driving a far distance he would take time out of his personal life to just make sure my trip was going okay. He would always call me at least every couple of weeks just to see how my assignments were going and if I needed anything. He has always been so thoughtful. If I had just had the worst night in the ED, I would talk to him and by the end of the conversation, I was laughing, that speaks more than words can even express. I would talk to other traveling nurses and the only time their recruiters would call them would be is they needed something from them, never to check on them, never just to see how they were doing, they would not fight for their wages and I would think to myself, WOW, I am so blessed to truly have the greatest recruiter in the world!!!! I would tell these nurses about Corey and give them his information and let them know that they were not being treated like real people, we are sometimes miles from our families and would know absolutely nobody, and to hear a familiar voice on the phone that sincerely cares about how you are doing and how your week has been is just as rewarding as being a traveling RN, at least in my eyes. Corey has been more than a recruiter to me, he has been a friend, he has given me great advice in my professional life, he has also been there when my daughter, who has been a very sick 22 year old, was been sick with something else and Corey couldn't fix but this man was a shoulder to cry on, and I do not cry very often. This man is more than a recruiter at National Staffing Solutions. He sets the bar very high for all recruiters across the country. Corey Miceli is more than a recruiter, he is an amazing human being!!!!! I have been very blessed and honored to work with this man and I hope your company realizes the true value of his worth. If I decide to travel again, I will not travel with anyone, but Corey Miceli!!!!!
