Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday | Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care provided

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience in an ICU or critical care setting
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and assigned holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with critically ill or complex patient populations in an acute care environment
• Familiarity with critical care monitoring equipment and technology
