About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – ICU / Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices
• Perform and assist with procedures such as heart catheterizations, cardioversion, and central line management
• Administer and titrate medication drips in accordance with unit protocols
• Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience in a large facility ICU setting
• Driven, organized, and efficient work style with a positive, engaged attitude
