Key Responsibilities of the Travel RN - CVICU

•

Titrate vesicant medications

•

Manage pressors, sedation, and paralytics

•

Operate and monitor ventilators and tracheostomies

•

Interpret telemetry and hemodynamics

•

Set up and interpret PA catheter

•

Perform transvenous pacing and cardioversion

•

Assist with TEE, chest tube insertions, and maintenance

Requirements of the Travel RN - CVICU

•

Experience in a critical care setting, specifically CVICU

•

Familiarity with vesicant meds, pressors, and hemodynamic monitoring

•

Advanced skills: IABP, Impella, and CRRT are desirable

•

CCRN certification recommended but not required
