About the Position

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts on a consistent schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Experience working in a high-volume acute care or hospital environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
