Contract | Night Shift (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Family Birth Center setting, supporting both low- and high-risk deliveries
• Utilize Cerner EMR and Fetal Link for fetal heart monitoring and patient surveillance
• Collaborate with an in-house Laborist (OB physician available 24/7), Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy teams
• Participate in weekend shift rotation (3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule) and integrate into the facility holiday rotation
• Float to Postpartum (couplet care) and, if qualified, to a NICU feeder/grower assignment
• Complete a proctored, pass/fail Dysrhythmia Test on the first day of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure with Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced AWHONN certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and fetal monitoring systems
• Ability to pass an onsite proctored Dysrhythmia Test on day one of assignment
• Ability to follow California nurse-to-patient ratio requirements (1:4 couplets, 1:1 active labor)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating in an OB OR setting (not required, but reduces orientation length)
• Prior NICU feeder/grower experience for potential float coverage
• Familiarity with Phillips fetal heart monitoring systems
