About the Position

Job Title: PICU RN Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour PM-AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of pediatric intensive care experience License: Current RN license Certifications: APHON certification required Must-Have: - Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology - Familiarity with the Beacon platform Description: ASAP start for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RN needed. This position involves providing care for patients from birth through 18 years of age in a mixed acuity unit. The unit has 19 beds and services all specialties within pediatric care. The pediatric hematology/oncology population makes up approximately 30% of inpatient admissions. The unit supports at least 2 certified RNs to staff each shift in a 3:1 ratio. Successful candidates should be well versed in all pediatric cancers and therapies. Candidates must have extensive experience in caring for this specific patient population. Experience with the Beacon platform is also essential.
