Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse – Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in alignment with established Standards of Patient Care
• Provide nursing care in accordance with Medical Surgical and Telemetry specialty-specific standards
• Assume leadership responsibilities on the unit, including appropriate delegation of tasks to other levels of staff
• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of healthcare

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Vermont
• Active ACLS certification required prior to contract start date
• Active BLS certification required prior to contract start date
• Active PALS or ENPC certification required prior to contract start date
• Active de-escalation training required prior to contract start date; a booked course at time of Clinical Orientation is acceptable if not yet completed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing setting
• Familiarity with nursing leadership responsibilities and multi-level staff delegation
