About the Position

Job Title

Labor & Delivery RN – LDRP Nurse (Labor, Newborn, and Postpartum)

Contract | Nights | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns throughout the childbirth and recovery process
• Perform triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs)
• Serve as second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered care
• Support and monitor patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum recovery

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Must be labor-trained with hands-on Labor & Delivery experience
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
• Fetal Monitoring certification at Intermediate level or above

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity obstetrics environment
• Strong interdisciplinary communication and team collaboration skills
