Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Profession: Nursing Specialty: Obstetrics RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse Certifications: NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above) Must-Have: Must be labor-trained Description: We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join our busy obstetrics department. Provide high-quality care for women and their newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns. Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs). Serve as the second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients. Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent, patient-centered care. Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery. Work in a fast-paced environment caring for women and newborn infants after childbirth. Play a critical role in guiding patients through the childbirth and postpartum journey. Be part of a team-oriented setting with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
